Nothing Left to Give
What has happened to all I thought I use to know?
The flowing of my tears is the only emotion I have to show.
I have nothing left to say, and nothing left to give.
If you want it, then you can have it, but dont expect my lonely heart to last.
For oh-so very long I thought that this we I spoke of, could last longer then this.
But after all those hopes and dreams I gave, do you bother to call me friend anymore?
I have nothing left to say, and nothing left to give.
If you want it, then you can have it, but dont expect my lonely heart to last.
My love has long since been forgotten, drying up faster then

The Sea of Miracles
If you follow the worn stone path, and descend the soft grassy hilltop,
you will come across a beach of the finest grains of sand,
as pale as if they were bathed in moonlight.
If you walk down along the edge of the water,
you will find a place where the shells will change colors as the day becomes old,
and the night young.
If you look to where the water and the sky mix,
you will see an ocean, as dark as space itself,
lit only by the many sparkling stars,
glistening as the waves roll to-and-fro.
If you glance up at the sunlit sky,
you will see how it shimmers brighter then all the gold in the world,
casting a pastel rainbo
No matter how many times I may scream my pain,
you will never hear my pleas.
The winds of my heart,
do not blow in your direction.

Your words are ever-changing,
your emotions are not the same,
and yet it is only the mirror on the wall,
that shows your true self.

They always tell you to wait for the light at the end of the tunnel,
for only then can you be free from the darkness.
But I like it here, it is safe.
There is no one here to hurt me,
and no one here for me to hurt.
And so, it's OK that there is no
Click-clack, keys typing away. My fingers are waves of emotions, the screen, the shore they crash upon. Words that are not words, feelings that are not feelings, all of them come together, erasing the blankness of the page.
Sadness, anger, uncertainty, regret, all shadowed by the smiles that are forced through the mask. Tears are wiped away before they become anything more, after all, no one notices those things, right?
Counting stars through my window, staring out into the frosty night, I live in a different world, one that I can only dream of. My only solitude resides in my sleepless imagination, until the dawn breaks.

If I could ever love you
If I could ever love you, imagine all the things Id say;
And if I could ever love you, would you ever feel the same?
For if I could ever love you, all the sadness would seem so far;
But if I could ever love you, I know everything would be ok.
But I can never love you, for that is the greatest sin;
And I can never love you, for you are my one true friend.
For I can never love you, not if the world were to end;
No I can never love you, cause I know how it would hurt you so.
But oh how, I would love you, if it wouldnt cause you grief;
And oh how, I would love you, if only you could see.
So oh, how I would love you, if there
